14th Anniversary Events Remember the Lost, Honor Rescue Efforts
Trenton, NJ – Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno joined the residents of New Jersey in commemorating the 14th anniversary of the September 11thattacks. More than 700 New Jersey residents were killed in the attacks.
“Although so many years have passed, our grief for what was taken from us and our resolve in the face of adversity have not lessened,” said Lt. Governor Guadagno. “We saw many examples of heroism and sacrifice on that day. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of all those who were lost, and I assure them that we will never forget.”
Today, the Lt. Governor will attend three remembrance ceremonies: Essex Remembers Ceremony in West Orange, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey September 11th Remembrance Ceremony in Manhattan, and the Old Bridge Township 9/11 Memorial Ceremony. On Wednesday, Lt. Governor Guadagno joined Christian Love Baptist Church in Irvington for its Annual Remembrance Service.
